How We Started
My husband & I used to have a married couple’s Bible study at our house that we hosted. Well before we knew it - we realized God had changed many of the people that were coming and then all of a sudden it was all single ladies. My husband and I began to really seek God to find out what his plan for us was. A few weeks in - one of our ladies from Bible Study became homeless. She was pregnant (due in a few weeks) & she also had a 2 & 3-year-old. So we ended up transforming our formal dining room into a room for her and her children. Then another week in another woman ends up homeless & we combined our girl’s bedroom into one and allowed her to stay in that room. Then we had the playroom transformed & before you know it our house was out of the room. We continued to pray and ask God to help us provide. I began reaching out to different friends placing women that were ready to completely change their lives and serve God on couches and spare rooms all over the county. Then God opened the amazing blessing of where we are located today!!! Our obedience to God isn’t just about us - it impacts everyone around us. Someone is depending on your obedience to God!
